About Özgür Yağmur
Prof. Özgür Yağmur is a board-certified surgeon with specialized training in hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery and transplantation. In 2013, he completed advanced fellowship training at the Yale New Haven Transplantation Center, where he focused on complex HPB procedures and transplant care. Earlier in his career, he gained clinical experience with the Acıbadem Health Group in 2011.
His clinical interests include liver and pancreatic surgery, colorectal surgery, and the care of trauma and critically ill surgical patients. He is dedicated to multidisciplinary, evidence-based care and to improving surgical outcomes through education and collaboration. Prof. Yağmur is a member of the Turkish Surgical Association, Turkish Trauma Association, Çukurova Surgical Association, Turkish HPB Association, Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
