About Gül Sağın Saylam
Prof. Gül Sağın Saylam is a professor of medicine with a long-standing focus on cardiology and cardiac surgery. She graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 2002 and later advanced to professorship. Since 2011, she has worked with Acıbadem Health Group in both clinical and academic roles.
Her clinical and research interests include pediatric and congenital heart disease, as well as thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. She is active in several professional organizations, including the Society of Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery, Turkish Society of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, National Pediatric Association, Turkish Medical Association, and the Turkish Society of Cardiology. She also takes part in the Asia Pacific Adult Congenital Heart Disease Society, Asia-Pacific Society of Pediatric Cardiology, and the European Society of Pediatric Cardiology.
