About Züleyha Akkan Çetinkaya
Züleyha Akkan Çetinkaya is a Gastroenterology specialist. She completed her medical education at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1998, then trained in Internal Medicine at Haydarpasa Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2003 and in Gastroenterology at the same hospital in 2009. Her academic appointments include Associate Professorship at Kocaeli Derince Training and Research Hospital in 2013 and Professorship at Gelisim University in 2019.
Her clinical experience includes work at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital from 1998 to 2013, Kocaeli Derince Training and Research Hospital from 2013 to 2014, Medical Park Gebze Hospital and Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine from 2014 to 2019, Memorial Ataşehir Hospital from 2019 to 2025, and Acibadem Health Group in 2025. She is a member of the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Society, Turkish Gastroenterology Association, Turkish Association for Liver Research, and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Association.
