About Sabahattin Kaymakoğlu
Prof. Sabahattin Kaymakoğlu is a hepatology and gastroenterology specialist with a long academic and clinical background. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and later became a professor. Since 2001, he has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group, where he is involved in patient care, research, and teaching.
His clinical interests include liver disease, viral hepatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and organ transplantation. He is a member of the Association for Liver Research, the Turkish Gastroenterology Association, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, the Clinical Association, the Association for the Fight Against Viral Hepatitis, the Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Association, and the Organ Transplantation and Organizations Coordination Association.
