About Murat Turfan
Prof. Murat Turfan is a cardiologist with a strong clinical and academic background. He received his medical degree in Cardiology from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2009. Since 2025, he has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group and has experience in cardiovascular care and interventional cardiology.
He is a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology (TKD), the European Association for Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI), the European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (EACPR), the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), and the European Acute Cardiovascular Care Alliance. Through these affiliations, he remains engaged in patient care, prevention, rehabilitation, and advanced interventional practice within national and European cardiology networks.
