About Muharrem Koçyiğit
Assoc. Prof. Muharrem Koçyiğit is a board-certified anesthesiologist and intensivist with a strong clinical and academic background. He completed his medical degree and specialty training in Anesthesiology and Reanimation at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 2003. Since 2009, he has been working with Acıbadem Health Group, where he takes part in perioperative care, advanced anesthesia techniques, and critical care management. His clinical interests include cardiothoracic and thoracic anesthesia, regional anesthesia, pain management, and the care of critically ill patients.
He is also involved in minimally invasive and robotic cardiovascular procedures and works closely with surgical teams to support patient outcomes. His professional memberships include the European Society of Anaesthesiology, European Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiologists, European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy, Association for Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiovascular Surgery, Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, Intensive Care Association, Association of Regional Anesthesia, and the Thoracic Cardiovascular Anesthesia and Intensive Care Association.
