About Melih Paksoy
Prof. Melih Paksoy is a board-certified general surgeon. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2005 and has developed expertise in abdominal and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery, hernia repair, colorectal procedures, and senology. Since 2006, he has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group, where he has taken part in clinical practice, surgical education, and multidisciplinary care.
His approach focuses on evidence-based treatment, minimally invasive techniques when appropriate, and clear communication with patients and families. He is a member of the Hernia Association, the Turkish Medical Association, the National Surgical Association, the Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, the Breast Science (Senology) Association, and the Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery Association. He also continues to pursue continuing education, collaborative research, and mentorship of younger surgeons.
