About Mehmet Akif Özdemir
Prof. Mehmet Akif Özdemir is a specialist in pediatric hematology and oncology with a strong clinical and academic background. He completed his medical training in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. Since 2016, he has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group, where he cares for children with blood disorders and cancer.
He is active in professional and community organizations. He is a member of the Kayseri Medical Chamber of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), the Turkish Pediatric Hematology Association, the Turkish Hematology Association, and the Turkish Pediatric Oncology Group. He has served as President of the Kayseri Branch of the National Pediatric Association and is the head of the Germir Culture and Solidarity Association.
