About M. Sinan Ersin
Prof. M. Sinan Ersin is a general surgeon with extensive experience in gastrointestinal surgery and minimally invasive surgery. He has also served in leadership positions in several national and international surgical organizations and remains active in clinical practice, education, and professional development. He studied Health Institutions Management at Anadolu University, Open Education Faculty, from 2019 to 2021.
Since 2025, he has been working at Acibadem Health Group. His professional roles include Board Member of the Endoscopic Laparoscopic Surgery Association (ELCD) from 2008 to 2014, Board Member of the Clinical Enteral Parenteral Nutrition Association (KEPAN) from 2013 to 2015, Chairman of the Aegean Region Surgical Association from 2021 to 2023, and Chairman of the Gastric and Esophageal Surgery Society (MÖCED) from 2023 to the present. He is also a member of the European Hernia Society (EHS), International Gastric Cancer Association (IGCA), Hernia Association, European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES), Turkish Surgical Association (TCD), and European Society of Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition (ESPEN). His interests include gastric and esophageal surgery, hernia repair and abdominal wall surgery, minimally invasive and endoscopic laparoscopic techniques, and clinical nutrition with perioperative enteral/parenteral support.
