About Leyla Ağaoğlu
Prof. Leyla Ağaoğlu is a pediatric hematology and oncology specialist with extensive clinical and academic experience. She graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1997, completing her training in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. Since 2007 she has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group, where she provides care for children with hematologic and oncologic conditions and participates in multidisciplinary treatment and research programs. She is an active member of numerous national and international professional societies, including the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP), Children’s Oncology Group (COG), American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (ASPHO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), European Hematology Association (EHA), and International Society of Hematology (ISH). National memberships include the Turkish Pediatric Association, Turkish Medical Association, National Pediatric Institute, Turkish Pediatric Oncology Group (TPOG), Turkish Pediatric Hematology Society (TPHD), and Turkish Hematology Association (THD). Dr. Ağaoğlu is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care to pediatric patients, advancing pediatric oncology through collaboration, and contributing to education and research in pediatric hematology-oncology.
