About Hakan Ümit Ünal
Prof. Hakan Ümit Ünal is a gastroenterologist with a strong clinical and academic background. He completed his medical training in Gastroenterology at Başkent University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. Currently affiliated with Acibadem Health Group since 2024, he provides advanced care in digestive diseases, endoscopic procedures, and nutritional support for patients with complex gastrointestinal and liver conditions. He is an active member of several professional societies, including the Turkish Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Society for Clinical Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition, the Turkish Gastroenterology Association, and the Turkish Association for Liver Research.
