About Bülent Değertekin
Prof. Bülent Değertekin is a professor of medicine with a strong clinical and academic background in gastroenterology and hepatology. He earned his professorship from Acibadem University Faculty of Medicine in 2017 and has been actively involved with the Acibadem Health Group since 2012. His professional interests include liver disease, gastrointestinal motility, endoscopy, and obesity-related gastrointestinal disorders. He is a member of several national and international societies, including the Turkish Gastroenterology Association, Liver Research Society of Turkey, European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL), Turkish Motility Association, Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Obesity Association, and the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Society.
