About Fuat Demirci
Prof. Fuat Demirci is a board-certified gynecologic oncologic surgeon with substantial experience in clinical practice, academic work, and leadership. He completed his Board of Medical Specialization in Gynecologic Oncology Surgery in 2011 and has worked as a senior clinician with Acibadem Health Group since 2006.
He has held several roles in national and international professional bodies. These include membership on the Board of Directors of the Turkish Gynecology and Obstetrics Association (TJOD) from 2012 to 2016 and service on TJOD’s headquarters board from 2004 to 2010. Since its establishment in 1997, he has served as President, Founding Secretary General, and Board Member of the Turkish Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Association. He has also been an advisory board member for FIGO and MIPS. His memberships include ICS, ESGO, IUGA, the Gynecologic Endoscopy Society, SERGS, ESGE, and the Gynecologic Oncology Society. His surgical practice includes gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, pelvic reconstructive surgery, and endoscopic and robotic techniques.
