About Cem Akbal
Prof. Cem Akbal is an associate professor of urology with a clinical and academic profile. He received his medical degree and completed his specialty training in the Department of Urology at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine between 2009 and 2014. Since 2021, he has been working with Acibadem Health Group, where he provides patient-centered urologic care and takes part in teaching and clinical research.
His practice covers pediatric and general urology. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Pediatric Urology, the European Society of Pediatric Urology (ESPU), and the European Association of Urology (EAU), as well as the Ankara Urologists Association, the Urological Surgery Association, and the Turkish Medical Association. He continues to focus on evidence-based care, patient communication, professional education, and collaborative research.
