About Banu Coşar
Prof. Banu Coşar is an ophthalmology specialist in cornea and refractive surgery. She received advanced training at Wills Eye Hospital, Jefferson University, in Philadelphia, where she completed a senior residency in the Cornea Service in 2001. Since 2007, she has been part of Acıbadem Health Group, providing clinical care in corneal disease, cataract and refractive procedures, and contact lens practice.
She is active in several professional organizations. Within the Turkish Ophthalmology Association, she takes part in the Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and Contact Lens units. She is also affiliated with the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Her experience combines international training with long-standing work in anterior segment care.
