About Sinan Karaoğlu
Prof. Sinan Karaoğlu is a professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology with a medical degree from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine (2007). He currently practices at Acıbadem Health Group (since 2020) and brings extensive clinical experience in sports injuries, arthroscopy, and knee surgery. He is active in academic publishing and peer review: associate editor at Erciyes Medical Association, member of the Turkish Editorial Board for the Journal of Arthroscopy, and a member of the Turkish Editorial Board for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). He also serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Joint Diseases & Related Surgery and the Erciyes Medical Journal. Prof. Karaoğlu contributes to professional organizations regionally and internationally. He is a board member of the Turkish Sports Injuries, Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery Association and the Asian-American Institute for Education and Research (ASIAM). He is a member of the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Association (TOTBID) and the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA). His work combines clinical care, surgical expertise, education, and scholarly activity, with a focus on improving outcomes for patients with knee and sports-related orthopedic conditions.
