About Sevim Kuyumcu
M.D. Sevim Kuyumcu is a board-qualified physician specializing in neuro-ophthalmology, with advanced training from Hacettepe University. She completed the Neuro-ophthalmology Special Student Program at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 2005 and 2007. As of 2025, she practices with the Acıbadem Health Group.
Dr. Kuyumcu is a member of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association, the Istanbul Medical Chamber, and the Turkish Medical Association. She also serves on the executive committee of the TOD Neuro-ophthalmology Unit and is the unit’s education representative. Her clinical work focuses on diagnosing and managing visual disorders related to neurological disease, with attention to multidisciplinary care and ongoing medical education.
