About Sevim Kuyumcu
M.D. Sevim Kuyumcu is a board-qualified physician specializing in neuro-ophthalmology with advanced training from Hacettepe University. She completed the Neuro-ophthalmology Special Student Program at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (2005–2007) and currently practices with the Acıbadem Health Group (2025). M.D. Kuyumcu is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Turkish Ophthalmology Association, the Istanbul Medical Chamber, and the Turkish Medical Association. She serves on the executive committee of the TOD Neuro-ophthalmology Unit and acts as the unit’s education representative, contributing to clinical education and professional development in neuro-ophthalmology. Her clinical focus includes diagnosis and management of visual disorders arising from neurological disease, with a commitment to multidisciplinary care and ongoing medical education.
