About Nur Dilek Bakan
Prof. Nur Dilek Bakan is a specialist in thoracic medicine with extensive clinical and academic experience. She completed advanced training at Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital and held the title of associate professor between 2013 and 2019. Since 2023, she has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group, where she works in chest diseases, lung health, and related critical care.
She is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Turkish Thoracic Society’s Lung Transplantation Working Group. She also contributes through the Tuberculosis Control Association and the Lung Health and Intensive Care Association. In addition, she is a member of the European Respiratory Society and the Respiratory Research Society of Turkey, showing her participation in both clinical care and respiratory research.
