About Murat Bozkurt
Prof. Murat Bozkurt is a senior orthopedic surgeon and researcher with international training and a clinical focus on sports medicine, shoulder and elbow surgery, and arthroscopy. He completed advanced orthopaedic research at Århus University’s Kommunehospitalet Orthopaedic Research Lab in Denmark between 1998 and 1999, and he has been with Acıbadem Health Group since 2018.
He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Association, ESSKA (European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy), ISAKOS (International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine), and the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, where he serves as the Turkish delegate. His other memberships include the International Cartilage Repair Society, SICOT, TUSYAD, the Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Association, TOTBID, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
