About Memet Özek
Prof. Memet Özek is a Professor of Medicine with a distinguished career in pediatric neurosurgery. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group since 2000. He has held important leadership roles in the international neurosurgical community, including serving as President of the European Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery from 2008 to 2010.
He is a member of the European Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery (ESPN), the International Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery (ISPN), the Society for Research into Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida, Academia Euroasiana, the Turkish Pediatric Neurology Association, the Turkish Society for the Fight against Epilepsy, the Turkish Pediatric Oncology Society, and the Turkish Neurosurgical Society. His work centers on improving care for children with neurosurgical conditions through clinical practice, research, and professional collaboration.
