About Mehmet Barburoğlu
Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Barburoğlu is an associate professor and interventional radiologist. He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2015. He currently practices at Acibadem Health Group, where he joined in 2025.
His work centers on image-guided vascular and nonvascular interventions, using minimally invasive methods. His clinical interests include endovascular therapies, embolization procedures, and multidisciplinary care for complex vascular conditions. He has been a member of the Turkish Association of Interventional Radiology and the Turkish Radiology Association since 2011, and he joined the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe in 2015.
