About Gökhan Demir
Prof. Gökhan Demir is a medical oncologist with a solid clinical and academic background. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and has focused his career on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Since 2013, he has been working with Acıbadem Health Group, where he takes part in multidisciplinary treatment planning and provides patient-centered oncology care.
His practice includes a broad range of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. Prof. Demir values evidence-based medicine, clear communication with patients and families, and individualized treatment planning. He also works in coordination with surgical, radiation, and supportive care teams and continues to support the development of oncology practice through clinical work and ongoing professional growth.
