About Erdal Okur
Prof. Erdal Okur is an experienced thoracic surgeon and academic with a long-standing commitment to chest diseases and thoracic surgery. He completed advanced training at Süreyyapaşa Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital and earned the title of Associate Professor in 2010. Since 2010 he has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group, where he combines clinical practice with research and education. An active member of the professional community, he serves as the country representative for the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons (ESTS) and holds memberships in the Turkish Society of Thoracic Surgery, the Turkish Thoracic Society, the Respiratory Research Society of Turkey, and the Lung Cancer Association. His work focuses on improving patient care in thoracic surgery and advancing research in respiratory and lung cancer fields.
