About Cihan Aksoy
Prof. Cihan Aksoy is a physician in physical medicine, rehabilitation, and manual medicine. In 2017, he completed Manual Medicine training under FIMM Trainer Marc Henry-Gouchart. Since 2023, he has been working at Acibadem Health Group, while also combining clinical practice with leadership roles in professional organizations focused on complementary and supportive therapies.
He is President and Founding Member of the Basic Complementary and Supportive Medicine Association (TETAD) and the Founding President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Manual Medicine Association. He also helped establish the Cranio-Maxillo-Facial and Maxillofacial Joint Rehabilitation Association and the Movement System Diseases Association. In addition, he was a former president and founding member of the Turkish Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Association, served as a founding member and Board of Directors member of the Turkish Pain Society, and is a member of the Turkish Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Qualification Board (Turkish FTR Board) Accreditation Board.
