About Cem Kara
M.D. Cem Kara is a pediatric surgeon who earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine and completed his training in Pediatric Surgery in 2002. Since 2007, he has been practicing with Acibadem Health Group, where he provides surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents.
His clinical interests include congenital and acquired pediatric surgical conditions, minimally invasive pediatric procedures, and teamwork with pediatric subspecialists to support better outcomes for young patients and their families. He is a member of the Society of Pediatric Urology, the Turkish Pediatric Surgery Association, and the Istanbul Medical Chamber. He remains dedicated to ongoing professional development and to compassionate, evidence-based surgical care for children.
