About Ayşen Timurağaoğlu
Prof. Ayşen Timurağaoğlu is an experienced hematologist with a long-standing commitment to patient care, clinical excellence, and medical education. An alumna of Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine (1995–2012), she has developed a strong clinical and academic background that supports her work in hematology and transfusion medicine. Since 2022 she has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group, where she continues to provide specialized care, participate in multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to clinical programs. Her expertise includes hematologic disorders, apheresis procedures, and blood transfusion services. Prof. Timurağaoğlu is an active member of several professional organizations including the European Hematology Association, the Hemapheresis Association, the Blood Centers and Transfusion Association, the Turkish Hematology Association, and the Istanbul Medical Chamber. These memberships reflect her engagement with current research, best practices in transfusion and apheresis, and ongoing professional development. She is known for combining evidence-based practice with compassionate patient care and for mentoring colleagues and trainees in hematology and transfusion medicine.
