About Ahmet Demirkaya
Prof. Ahmet Demirkaya is a thoracic surgeon who earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and completed his thoracic surgery training there in 2005. He has been practicing at Acibadem Health Group since 2020, bringing years of clinical experience to his work.
Dr. Demirkaya is also active in the professional medical community. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Thoracic Surgery, the Lung Cancer Association of Turkey, the Turkish Thoracic Society, the Respiratory Research Society of Turkey, and the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons. His practice centers on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of thoracic diseases, with a particular focus on lung cancer and the ongoing development of thoracic care through clinical practice and collaboration.
