About Ahmet Alanay
Prof. Ahmet Alanay is a spine surgeon and academic leader with broad international experience in complex spinal care. In 2006, he completed a visiting professorship at the UCLA School of Medicine’s Comprehensive Spine Center, and he has been affiliated with the Acibadem Health Group since 2012. His clinical and research interests center on spinal deformity and advanced spine surgery.
He is a member of the Spine Society of Europe, the Scoliosis Research Society, the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Bone and Joint Society, the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Association, and the Turkish Spine Society. He also serves on advisory and editorial boards for the European Federation of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, the European Spine Journal, JBJS Reviews, and as an associate editor for spine surgery, while contributing to the Spine Deformity editorial community and several spine advisory boards.
