About Burcu Bulum Akbulut
Assoc. Prof. Burcu Bulum Akbulut is a pediatric nephrologist who completed fellowship training at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2013. Since 2017, she has been working with Acıbadem Health Group, where she cares for children with kidney disorders.
Her clinical and academic interests include pediatric nephrology, dialysis and transplant care, and the management of rheumatic conditions that affect the kidneys. She is also a member of several professional organizations, including the European Renal Association–European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA), the European Society for Pediatric Nephrology (ESPN), the Turkish Society of Nephrology, the Pediatric Rheumatism and Kidney Diseases Association, and the Pediatric Nephrology Society.
