Patient health and performance status are equally important. Younger patients or those with fewer comorbidities tend to tolerate aggressive treatments better, potentially leading to improved outcomes. Conversely, frail patients or those with significant underlying health issues may have limited options and poorer prognoses.

Despite the generally poor outlook associated with pancreatic cancer, ongoing research offers hope. Advances in early detection techniques, surgical methods, and systemic therapies are gradually improving survival rates. Clinical trials remain an essential component for patients seeking access to innovative treatments that could change the trajectory of this disease.
