In human trials, some patients following fasting protocols experienced fewer side effects from treatments, such as nausea and fatigue. Although more extensive research is needed, these findings suggest that strategic timing of food intake could become a component of integrated cancer therapy in the future.

Despite these encouraging developments, experts emphasize that diet should never replace standard cancer treatments. Instead, nutritional strategies should be integrated into a comprehensive care plan under medical supervision. As research continues, personalized nutrition plans tailored to individual tumor types, genetic profiles, and overall health are likely to become more prevalent, offering hope for improved outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients.
